BELLE WOOD VILLAS AND COUNTRY CLUB

Belle Wood Villas is a luxury housing community developed by Shanghai Zhong Fang Real Estate Co, Ltd. The project is comprised of 109 villas and a 6,800m2 clubhouse. The market is Western and European expatriates working for multinational companies in Shanghai. Monthly lease rates range from USD $5,000 to $9,000. The clubhouse, completed in fall, 2005, will provide residents and guests with a variety of modern sports and leisure facilities and five-star services including 22 hotel rooms and suites. QLC is under long term contract with the developer and is involved in all aspects of property management and club development.
As Property Management Consultant, Jeffrey organized the property management team, created operating systems and procedures, and he created resident communication programs and feedback systems. He interacts with the residents directly and participates in community events and activities. Jeffrey provides ongoing supervision to the property managers to make sure the services provided exceed the residents expectations. As Club Planning Consultant, Jeffrey planned the club's facilities and services and designed a comfortable and functional layout.As Club Interior Design Consultant, Jeffrey insures that the clubhouse decoration meets western standards of comfort and can be operated efficiently.

RANCHO SANTA FE VILLAS AND CLUB
Shanghai (Minhang), PRC
Rancho Santa Fe Villas is a beautiful luxury housing project developed by Shanghai Vanke Development Co., one of Shanghai's best known developers.In all 300 Spanish style villas will be built in three phases. The community features 3,800m2 sports and leisure clubhouse.Because Rancho Santa Fe is located close to the Shanghai American School and other international schools, the community will appeal to westerners and other international expatriates with school age children.
QLC is under long term contract as Property and Club Management Consultant. Jeffrey creates performance standards and operating procedures; he trains the staff to provide western style customer service; he manages the resident communications program and assists in the planning and design of new club facilities. Jeffrey works with Rancho Santa Fe senior managers to make sure that residents have a happy, safe, and comfortable living experience.

YIN TAO GOLF CLUB
Shanghai, PRC
Opened in 1999, Yin Tao Golf Club features an 18-hole championship, "links style" golf course designed by Peter Thompson, five-time winner of the British Open Golf Championship. Yin Tao Golf Club is the only golf course that is lighted for night play. A modern 5,000 m2 clubhouse is being planned.
Yin Tao, in partnership with Tong Ji University, created a Golf Training Institute. This Institute is at the forefront of golf education in China. Beginning in 2004, Chinese students can receive undergraduate degrees in business administration with a major in golf. A Golf EMBA course was launched in the winter of 2005.
As Operational Consultant, Jeffrey recommends improvements in organization, personnel, facilities, services and activities so that Yin Tao has more appeal for westerners and other international expatriates. He conducts training programs and writes articles for various Yin Tao publications. As Development Consultant, Jeffrey helped design the golf education programs for the Golf Institute and to locate textbooks and qualified instructors. In addition Jeffrey is advising on the design and development of a new Yin Tao golf course, sports club and conference center now in planning.

SHANGHAI RACQUET CLUB AND APARTMENTS
Shanghai (Minhang), PRC
Shanghai Racquet Club and Apartments (SRC) is the largest expatriate residential country club community in Shanghai with over 400 luxury class apartments and a 12,000m2 sports and leisure clubhouse. SRC enjoys a reputation as the most active family club in Shanghai with more than 700 members. As General Manager, Jeffrey set up and opened the project and was responsible for all aspects of property management and club development and operations from 1999 until 2002.
Jeffrey recruited, hired, and trained all department managers and other key staff. He implemented systems and controls, participated in the leasing and marketing of the apartments, and managed effective resident communications programs. Jeffrey participated in clubhouse design and developed the operational programming for each of the club's facilities: indoor and outdoor tennis courts; indoor and outdoor swimming pools; fitness and aerobics center, and a large children's center. He created food and beverage concepts for three restaurants, and a country market. Jeffrey developed and managed an extensive schedule of sports and social activities and events for adults and children.

FAIR LAKE VILLAS AND CLUB
Shanghai (Hong Qiao), PRC
Fair Lake Villas is considered one of the most beautiful villa communities in Shanghai. Designed by a famous Spanish architect, the 56 Spanish-style, white washed villa homes surround a large, beautifully landscaped interior lake. The villas sold out quickly at the top-end of the market sales price. The Spanish-style clubhouse features a variety of modern sports and leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center and spa, western style restaurant, entertainment rooms and eight guest suites. The developer retained Quality Leisure China to position the sports club in the local market and to develop a membership program.
As Membership Consultant, Jeffrey conducted a study of 15 high end villa projects and sports clubs within 5 km of Fair Lakes Villas. He interviewed real estate experts, community leaders and Fair Lakes Villas residents to determine the proper positioning for the club. Jeffrey designed a membership program for Fair lakes that would bring new revenues to the developer, but would not interfere with the resident's enjoyment of club facilities.

WUHAN INTERNATIONAL GOLF CLUB AND VILLAS
Wuhan, PRC
Wuhan International Golf Club opened in 1996. The club features a Nick Faldo-design championship golf course and a 6,000m2 clubhouse. Due to financial constraints caused by the Asian Crisis, the project never realized it full potential and the clubhouse was closed a few months after opening and has stood vacant for eight years. The redevelopment of the project began in 2003. New villas were constructed and an international tennis center is planned. Quality Leisure China was retained to assist the owners with all aspects of the redevelopment.
As Redevelopment Consultant, Jeffrey studied the local market created a new mission statement and market positioning statement for the golf club and sports clubhouse. He developed a services and activities plan and new membership sales and marketing strategies. In 2004 the redevelopment was stopped due to issues with the local government. The project is scheduled to start-up again in late 2005.

LI JIANG SHAN SHUI VILLAS AND CLUB
Shanghai, PRC
Li Jiang Shan Shui is one of Shanghai's most modern and forward-looking villa projects. Developed by Shanghai Zhong fang Development Co., the project features more than 420 villas and townhouses situated amid 14,000m2 of beautifully landscaped gardens and forests. The 8,000m2 clubhouse is built on the confluence of three rivers thereby guaranteeing excellent Feng Shui. The developer hired Quality Leisure China to develop a plan for the clubhouse that would reduce operating losses.
As Clubhouse Planning Consultant, Jeffrey developed the club's mission statement, operating plan and the clubhouse activities and services plan. He created a preliminary staffing plan and preliminary operating budget. Jeffrey developed clubhouse layout design that would serve all the needs of the residents at the least possible cost to the developer.

AN TING ENHANCE GOLF CLUB, HOTEL AND SERVICE APARTMENTS
Shanghai (Anting), PRC
An Ting Enhance Golf Club will open in An Ting, New Automobile City, in the last quarter of 2005. This project will feature a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and modern golf clubhouse. Also planned is a 150-room business hotel with conference center and 170 service apartments. Quality Leisure China was retained by Oriental Development, Ltd. to assist in the planning, design, and investment requirements of the project.
As Development Consultant, Jeffrey advised on all aspects of the initial planning and design of golf club, hotel and conference center. He conducted a feasibility study of the Shanghai golf market to determine the proper selling prices of the golf memberships. He projected club membership sales levels, hotel occupancy, number of annual golf rounds for return on investment calculation. Jeffrey recommended restaurant and retail space requirements and other important design considerations.

SHANGHAI AMERICAN CLUB
Shanghai (Huang Pu), PRC
The Shanghai American Club (SAC) is the first private western-style business club to open in Shanghai since 1937. Located near Shanghai's historic Bund area on the top floor of an office tower, the club is famous for views of the Huang Pu River and Pudong. Modeled after the venerable Hong Kong American Club, SAC was positioned to target, expatriate executive managers of multi-national companies setting up China operations in Shanghai.
Jeffrey was recruited from America to join the club as General Manager in 1997 and he was responsible for opening and developing the club until 1999. He supervised the smooth operation of the club's facilities that included: western-style fine dining and casual dining restaurants; Cantonese Chinese restaurant; private dining rooms and a fitness center. Jeffrey supervised the club's membership sales department, was editor of the newsletter and planned and executed sports and social activities for the club's 500 members.

RIVIERA COUNTRY CLUB AND TENNIS CLUB
Pacific Palisades, California, USA
The Riviera Country Club, founded in 1927, is an internationally famous golf, tennis and hotel club complex located near Los Angeles, California. The golf course is consistently rated among the top courses in the world and is the site of the annual Nissan Open Professional Golf Tournament. The club's 1400 golf and tennis members include many movie and television stars and others in the entertainment industry.
Jeffrey served as the club's General Manager for more than eight years, with bottom line responsibility for the management of more than 15,000m2 of clubhouse facilities, a world class, championship golf course and 23 tennis courts. Clubhouse facilities included three restaurants, 800-seat banquet rooms, 34 hotel guest suites and retail golf and tennis shops. Jeffrey managed an extensive schedule of activities including weekly golf and tennis tournaments, club functions and other special events. Each year Jeffrey played a key role during the Nissan Open golf tournament and he served as Vice Chairman of the PGA Championship when it was played at Riviera in 1983.

L' AUBERGE DEL MAR RESORT AND SPA
Del Mar, California, USA
L'Auberge Del Mar is a luxury class, Mobil four-star rated boutique hotel and spa located near San Diego, California. The resort features 120 guest suites; a European Health and Beauty Spa and a variety of restaurants and shops. The resort is located a short distance from the famous Del Mar horse racing park and entertains many television and movie celebrities. Jeffrey served as the hotel's Food and Beverage Director from 1995 until 1997.
Jeffrey was brought in to turn around the hotel's food and beverage department and he succeeded in making an operating profit in his first year. Jeffrey supervised the planning and renovation of all food and beverage facilities including the fine dining restaurant, banquet and private party rooms and room service. He recruited new key managers and chefs, developed new restaurant concepts, and implemented systems and controls. Jeffrey designed advertising campaigns and restaurant promotions. One of his promotions, "Early Gourmet" became a hit with the local population and received many compliments from the restaurant critics.
